FAQ

Questions, answered

Everything camp directors ask before getting started.

Is CampOffice built for Jewish summer camps?

Yes. It's built around how frum camps actually run — first-half / second-half / full-summer sessions, divisions and bunks, guarantors and deposits, scholarships, payment plans, and a camp hotline page for parents.

Can parents register and pay online?

Yes. Parents apply through an online registration form that flows into your office pipeline, then use a secure parent portal to pay tuition and deposits by card or ACH, set up payment plans, complete forms, and update camper info.

How do online payments work and who holds the money?

Payments run through Stripe Connect. Each camp connects its own Stripe account, so tuition settles directly to the camp — CampOffice never holds your money. A processing fee applies and can be passed to parents so your camp nets the full amount.

Does it work for day camps as well as overnight camps?

Yes. Every module can be turned on or off per camp. A day camp can switch off bunking-related extras; an overnight camp can use everything from health center to trips.

How long does setup take?

Most camps are up and running the same day. You create your sessions and divisions, add families and campers, and you're ready. We help founding camps get set up during the beta.

Is our data secure and private?

Each camp's data is fully isolated, office staff and parents have separate logins, and parents can only ever see their own family. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers.

Can we get our data out?

Yes. You can export camper rosters and family balances to CSV at any time. Your data is yours.

What does it cost?

Pricing is per camper, per year, starting at $8. It's free for camps during the beta season, and founding camps keep founding pricing as we grow. See pricing.
